Millbrook Marsh Nature Center is a beautiful location to host your company retreat, wedding events, and more. All building rentals have access to restrooms and wireless internet, and your guests are welcome to roam the grounds and walk the trails. All rentals must adhere to Nature Center Policies.
To reserve, please fill out a Rental Request Form or Wedding Request Form and send to the Nature Center Staff Assistant.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the Barn only; renters must obtain an alcohol permit from the Nature Center. Please see the full Alcohol Policy for permit fees and requirements. This policy must be reviewed and signed in-person with Nature Center staff.
All proposed activities must conform to the lease agreement with Pennsylvania State University, the ClearWater Conservation Easement, College Township ordinances, CRPR Authority regulations, and agreements with Nature Center partner groups.
Large Groups, Special Events, Fundraisers, Commerical Activities
Groups that expect more than 65 people, events open to the public, and fundraisers a Large Group Event request must be submitted at least 60 days in advance. You may be required to meet with a staff member to discuss the specifics of your event and extra considerations and permits. Please contact Millbrook Marsh Nature Center staff for more information.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES: Commercial activities involve, but are not limited to, selling goods or services to the public, holding private classes or activities in the parks where participants register with a third-party, or political activities involving campaigning for votes, stumping, political speeches, candidate endorsements, or political fundraising. Commercial activities are prohibited in all parks, except as specifically permitted by the Director of Parks & Recreation or the elected officials of the municipality that owns the park. In the case of the two public swimming pools, the Centre Region Parks & Recreation Authority must approve all requests for commercial activities. Organizers must allow 60 days prior to the event to obtain the necessary approvals.
Special Events where groups wish to serve food to the public are required to complete an Application for Temporary Business/Solicitation Special Event Permit.
Insurance Requirements
Non-family rentals and large groups, must provide proof of liability insurance with a minimum general liability policy of $1,000,000 each occurrence. The Certificate of Insurance must list Centre Region Parks & Recreation Authority and the Pennsylvania State University as additional insured. If the rental is approved for an alcohol permit, the Certificate of Insurance must include host liquor liability as well as the two additional insureds. Certificates of Insurance must be provided to Millbrook Marsh at least 10 days prior to the rental date.
