If not, you'll want to create a household account in RecDesk and complete the Health & Safety Form for each child BEFORE FEBRUARY 2nd. The Health & Safety Form will take you to a link to register. There is no fee to complete this pre-registration step.

Kidz Kamp

CRPR Kidz Kamp is the ultimate summer adventure where kids get to be kids! This traditional recreational day camp is packed with nonstop fun, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Campers will enjoy a variety of games, creative crafts, special events, swimming, and exciting field trips—all designed to keep them active, engaged, and smiling all summer long. With a focus on play, exploration, and making new friends, Kidz Kamp is a place where laughter is loud, days are full, and summer memories are made to last. (Field trips may change due to logistics)

For the young adventurer who is excited about getting hands-on with nature! Come to Millbrook Marsh to discover wonders of the outdoors through leader-led activities, games, songs, and unstructured nature play. Children will explore the marsh and learn about some of the animals and plants that inhabit the wetland ecosystem. Please dress for the weather and plan to get messy! Ages 3-5yrs; must be potty trained. Each week of camp is different so register for one week, a few weeks, or all!
Puppet Camp the Musical

Soccer Shots: Superhero Camp

Soccer Shots Superhero Camp invites kids ages 3–4 to step into their superhero roles while learning the basics of soccer! Campers will use their “super speed” to dribble, their “power kicks” to score goals, and their “super listening” to follow along with fun, age-appropriate activities. Through imaginative games and plenty of movement, children will build confidence, coordination, and teamwork—all while saving the day and having tons of fun on the field!

Soccer Shots Superhero Camp for ages 5–7 challenges campers to train like true soccer superheroes! Players will sharpen their “super skills” such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through high-energy games and themed challenges. Using their “hero focus,” “super strength,” and “team powers,” campers will build confidence, coordination, and sportsmanship while completing fun missions on the field. Each day is packed with action, imagination, and plenty of superhero-sized fun!

Soccer Shots Dinosaur Camp is a roarin’ good time for kids ages 3–4! Little athletes will stomp, run, and play as they learn basic soccer skills like dribbling and kicking through fun, imaginative games. With a playful dinosaur theme woven into each activity, campers will build coordination, confidence, and listening skills while having a dino-sized amount of fun on the field.

Soccer Shots Castles & Dragons Camp is a magical adventure for kids ages 3–4! Young knights and dragons-in-training will learn basic soccer skills like dribbling and kicking through playful, imaginative games. As campers defend their castles, dodge friendly dragons, and score royal goals, they’ll build coordination, confidence, and listening skills—all while having tons of fairytale fun on the field.

With imaginative games and plenty of movement, kids will build confidence, coordination, and sportsmanship—all while having a legendary time!

Soccer Shots Outer Space Camp blasts off for kids ages 3–4! Little astronauts will explore basic soccer skills like dribbling and kicking through fun, imaginative games set in outer space. As campers zoom like rockets, dodge asteroids, and score galactic goals, they’ll build coordination, confidence, and listening skills—all while having an out-of-this-world time on the field!

Soccer Shots Outer Space Camp for ages 5–7 is an out-of-this-world soccer adventure! Campers will build their dribbling, passing, and shooting skills while completing fun space missions on the field. Using “rocket speed,” “astronaut focus,” and teamwork, players will score galactic goals, explore new planets, and have a blast learning soccer fundamentals in a fun, imaginative setting.
Nature Wanderers Camp
June 29 - July 2

Ages 10 - 14 years
Location: Varied
For curious kids who want to explore unique habitats within the Centre Region. During this educational camp, explorers will learn about birds, native plants, and waterways at various recreation areas. Also, hikers will have nature mindfulness sessions, poetry opportunities, and nature journaling time each day! Great mini adventures at places you can explore with a daypack. Children should be prepared to hike on the first day and to spend each morning exploring different environments with an open mind and heart. Please dress for the weather. Families are asked to drop off and pick up their child(ren) at each trailhead location. Locations will be within 25 miles of Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. You will be notified of the locations one week before the start of camp. Please bring a snack, water, and appropriate hiking shoes.
Kayak Camp
July 6 - July 10

Ages 12 - 17 years
Location: Millbrook Marsh Nature Center
Great for first-time boaters or those who wish to strengthen their technique. Camp begins by learning the equipment basics; life jackets, parts of the kayak and paddle. Campers develop and practice the various kinds of paddle strokes and fundamentals of safe boat handling on local lakes. After building their skills, campers will conclude the week with a river trip.
Bug Camp

Summer is the time for bugs and the perfect time for Bug Camp! We will search the land, the water, and the sky for all the bugs that make Millbrook Marsh home. We will learn what makes them tick (yes, this includes actual ticks) and what makes them so important not just in nature, but in your own life. We will dive into their history and learn what you can do to save their future. For any young entomologist with bugs in their brain and containers in their pockets, this is the time you've been searching for! Please bring a snack, water, and appropriate shoes for exploration.
Art and Acting with Puppets - Half Days

Extreme Expedition Bricks Camp
Fee: $140 Residents; $210 Non-Residents
Location: St Paul's United Methodist Church, Education Building
Calling all builders and problem-solvers! In this action-packed camp, campers will use their engineering skills to travel the globe and complete Secret Missions. Using technical components, kids will design and build high-speed vehicles and rescue machines to tackle extreme challenges. Can you create a dragster fast enough to outrun a tornado? Or a helicopter strong enough to rescue a Secret Ranger after an earthquake? Campers will work with gears, axles, pulleys, and tech bricks as they race storms, collect critical supplies, and save the day. Join us for Extreme Expeditions and become part of our elite engineering team!
Colossal Creation Circuit Bricks Camp

Get ready to build big in Colossal Creation Circuit! Campers will design, build, and bring brick creations to life with motorized models, colorful mosaics, and imaginative architecture. Each day features an action-packed theme, such as Ocean Adventures, Jungle Exploration, Topsy-Turvy Spinners, and Everybody Dance Now! Campers will explore how technical pieces work together while building everything from spinning tops and scuba divers to chomping crocodiles and jungle boats. With age-appropriate challenges, creative free-build time, snack breaks, and fun non-building activities, this camp is the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and hands-on fun. Our journey will also take us to amusement parks, sporting events, and introduce us to unique characters that we'll never forget. We'll create architecture, mosaics, technical builds, and much more. At the State College Community Theatre Academy, our goal is to teach valuable theatre skills while building foundations and fundamentals of theatre for our younger students and enhancing skills for our older students. Our students will leave with a stronger knowledge of the craft of theatre and will learn life lessons in creativity, teamwork, focus, and communication. The skills learned throughout the Academy will be combined into an end-of-camp performance for family and friends to enjoy! Camp ReadyUp empowers teens with the skills and confidence to respond safely and effectively in real-world emergencies. Through interactive workshops, team challenges, and scenario-based training, participants learn first aid, disaster readiness, communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving under pressure. Guided by experienced instructors, participants gain practical knowledge, build resilience, and develop the mindset needed to protect themselves and help others in times of need. In partnership with the Centre Region Fire Protection Program.

Chess Wizards Camp is a wonderful way to have youth experience the excitement of chess! Chess enhances cognitive development, improves verbal and mathematical skills, and increases academic performance. Participants will strengthen their technical chess skills, work through fun group challenges, and create their own chess pieces.
