Urgent Alert: Code Purple Air Quality – Programs and Pools Affected
Due to the Code Purple Air Quality Alert in effect today, Friday, July 17, all CRPR pools will remain closed for the day. Outdoor recreation programs, camps, sports, and events will be canceled or relocated indoors where possible. Registered participants should check their email for program-specific updates. Current air quality conditions are available at Airnow.gov
- The PBS Moving in the Park Event scheduled at Tom Tudek Park on July 17th has also been canceled.
- Park Forest and Welch Pool will be closed today.
Tom Tudek Dog Park Large Pen Closure: The Large Dog Pen will be closed beginning Thursday, May 14 to allow for reseeding and other maintenance improvements. During this time, large dogs will be redirected to the third pen. To support healthy turf establishment and allow the newly seeded areas to properly take hold, the affected pen is expected to remain closed through at least the fall season. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements.
Construction at Oak Hall Regional Park: Visitors are advised that the College Township Water Authority will be conducting construction work at Oak Hall Regional Park beginning Monday, March 23. Work is expected to continue through 2026 as part of a larger well and water system improvement project. Please use caution, follow posted signage, and be mindful of active construction areas during your visit.
