This introductory program to juggling involves the participants in games and exercises to practice object manipulation with juggling balls. The practice strengthens concentration, hand-eye coordination, and self-esteem while building a creative community. The exercises include stretching, body movement, group games, and coordination.

Jonatas Campelo has developed his multi-faceted juggling techniques over the past 15 years as a circus artist. He started juggling in the streets of Brazil and studied with professionals throughout Latin America. He is excited to bring juggling to State College.  This class is held at the Active Adult Center and is open to anyone 18 years and over.

This class is for anyone who is a recreational or mountain cyclist and would like to feel more comfortable commuting by bike. Learn about the realities of bike commuting, traffic safety principles, what to wear so you don’t arrive at work a sweaty mess, what kind of gear you’ll need to haul a change of clothes or ride at night, how and where to lock your bike, and much more.
