Legal Notices & Bids

Contractors and vendors are invited to bid/quote on furnishing products and services to the Authority / Agency. When feasible, the Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority (CRPRA) and the Centre Region Parks and Recreation Agency limit paper-based bidding in favor of electronic procurement via the PennBid Program, a platform for the quotation and sealed bid process, as authorized by the Commonwealth and, in February 2011, by the CRPRA. When not engaging PennBid, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests to Bid (RTBs) will be posted here from time-to-time.

2024 Bid Tabulation Results

For bids posted on PennBid, each vendor/bidder must register at PennBid (no registration fee required). Once registered, vendors will also gain access to bid opportunities from over 130 PA agencies and private firms. All documents are available online, plus registrants may prepare, submit, and update quotations or sealed bids until the official deadline for that solicitation. Registrants can also be automatically notified of other opportunities that match their products and services.  Please note that PennBid is not an auction-style web service; it is a platform for the quotation and sealed-bid process. To read more about the program, please visit PennBid.

Centre Region Council of Governments (COG) Open Records Policy

The Centre Region Parks and Recreation Agency, as an agency of the Centre Region Council of Governments (COG), falls under the COG Open Records Policy. The COG policy was developed in compliance with PA Act 3 of 2008, the Right-to-Know Law, and adopted by the participating municipalities of the CRCOG. On January 26, 2009, the COG General Forum approved the Open Records Policy, which the Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority has also adopted for their operations. Please review the Open Records Policy.
