Softball

Centre Region Parks and Recreation is happy to offer a variety of softball leagues throughout the year and most league games are played at the regional parks; John Hess Softball Complex and Oak Hall Regional Park. At times, league games are placed in the local municipal parks as well.

Open Women's Slow-Pitch Softball
The Women's Slow-Pitch Softball League starts in May and runs through mid-August; this league is open to players, 18 yrs. and over. Games are 1 night/week. An organizational meeting will be held on April 23rd at Oak Hall at 6PM.

 

45 & Over Men's Softball
The Men's 45 and Over League starts in late April typically and runs through mid-August. March 1 is the deadline for team registrations. Openings are available for additional teams in the Centre Region Parks and Recreations' 45 & Over Adult Softball League. Games are Thursday nights at Oak Hall Regional Park. 

Open Men's Softball
The Open Men's Softball League starts in April and runs through mid-August; this league is open to players, 18 yrs. and over.  Act Now!  March 1, 2024 is the deadline for team registrations!  Openings are available for additional teams in this popular league. Team fees will be announced at the captain's meeting, but are estimated to be $1,000 per team. 
 

Coed Softball
Centre Region Parks and Rec offers a recreational Coed Softball league each Spring/Summer. Teams must be made up of seven men and at least three women. The league runs from mid-May to mid-August typically. Games are 1 night/week at Hess Field.  

Fall Wooden Bat League

The wood bat league is played at Hess field each fall in September and October. Check back for more details in July.
