July is Parks and Recreation MonthJuly is Parks and Recreation Month
It's that time of year where CRPR celebrates this special month along with other parks and recreation agencies across the US and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)!  Parks and recreation agencies and the work they do can positively impact a community and its residents; through open spaces and active parks, programming and organized community activities, and the provision of facilities, community residents have a multitude of opportunities to get outdoors and play, take a class, or enjoy some of the local parks and open spaces.

CRPR is celebrating this month and you can check our Activity Calendar for all the activities taking place during July!  You can also read our Press Release which details the impact of parks and recreation on the local community and a brief list of the activities taking place this month.Activity Book

For CRPR's younger fans, please download this fun Activity Booklet!  Kids can draw, color, learn, investigate, read, write, and have fun while thinking about parks and recreation related activities!  CRPR suggests you take this booklet with you and complete it while enjoying one of the local parks or playgrounds or pavilions!
