Senior Center Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM 
(closed on Holidays)

The Centre Region Senior Center offers a wide variety of recreational activities for adults age 55+. A full calendar of events and monthly newsletters are available (below) to keep participants informed of exciting Center happenings! Centre County Van transportation to/from the center is available. To schedule a van ride, please call the Centre Region Senior Center at 231-3076 at least 24 hours in advance. We look forward to seeing you at the Center!

Meals are served to seniors at 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday. To reserve your meal, please call 231-3076 by 10 AM the day before you plan to visit the Center.

  • For adults age 60 & over, a donation of $1.25 per meal is requested to help offset some of the meal cost.
  • For adults age 55-59, the lunch fee is $3.51 per meal. 

Jan. 2, Apr. 3 & 6, May 22, Sept. 4, Oct. 12, Nov. 30, Dec. 31.
  No meals or van transportation to the Senior Center will be available on the County Cost Savings Days, but the center will be open and staffed.

The Centre Region Senior Center will be closed from Monday, May 18 through Thursday, May 21, due to the Fraser Centre construction project involving in a full street closure of South Fraser Street and the Fraser St. Parking Garage.   Prescheduled trips are available on the dates as shown below; please call the center to register for those van trips.   The Senior Center is scheduled to re-open on Friday, May 22, which is also a County Cost Savings Day with no meals or transportation. To register for a trip or for more information about the Centre Region Senior Center, call 814-231-3076

  • Mon. May 18 Senior Center Closed
  • Tue. May 19 Senior Center Closed except for the prescheduled trip to Bellefonte Museum and lunch.
  • Wed. May 20 Senior Center Closed except for the prescheduled trip to the Global Connections Luncheon.
  • Thu. May 21 Senior Center Closed except for the prescheduled trip to the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center with lunch.
  • Fri, May 22 Senior Center Open on Centre County Cost Saving Day (no meals or van service)
  • Mon. May 25 Senior Center Closed - Memorial Day Holiday

Calling All Crafters

  • The Senior Center is always looking for craft donations for the Senior Center Crafter Boutique. We welcome finished projects and supply donations; please drop off your donation during regular center hours.
  • Are your creative and enjoy teaching others? Instructors are wanted for a variety of programs included knitting, crocheting, art, woodworking and more. Interested individuals are asked to call the Center at (814) 231-3076.
