Senior Center PROGRAMS:

The Centre Region Senior Center offers a wide variety of activities for adults ages 55+.   The Senior Center is open Mon.- Fri. from 8 AM-4:30 PM.
Noontime meals are offered every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Tuesday of each month.  Meals may also be available on Thursdays if there are sufficient reservations by 10 AM the day prior.
A donation of $1.25 per meal is requested to help offset some of the meal cost
($3.25 per meal for those under age 60).

Centre County Van transportation to and from the center is available on the days that meals are served.

FOR ADULTS 55+

GOAL: MAKE FRIENDS WITH YOUR COMPUTER &
LEARN TO MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU!

The Centre Region Senior Center offers one-on-one tutoring so that you can learn at your own pace. Appointments are made one hour at a time, and participants can make as many appointments as our schedule permits. Our tutors are knowledgeable and very patient; they will start from scratch to show you the basics, or help you proceed to a greater level of proficiency.
• Use of the computer without a tutor: $3 Resident / $5 Nonresident per person per hour.
• Use of the computer with a tutor: $5 Resident / $8 Nonresident per person per hour.
