The Centre Region Senior Center offers a wide variety of recreational activities for adults age 55+. A full calendar of events and monthly newsletters are available (below) to keep participants informed of exciting Center happenings! Centre County Van transportation to/from the center is available. To schedule a van ride, please call the Centre Region Senior Center at 231-3076 at least 24 hours in advance. We look forward to seeing you at the Center!

Meals are served to seniors at 11:30 AM, Mon-Fri. To reserve your meal, please call 231-3076 by 10 AM the day before you plan to visit the Center:

  • For Adults age 60 & over (along with their spouse or caregiver), a DONATION of $1.50 per meal is requested to help offset some of the meal cost.
  • For Adults ages 55-59, the LUNCH FEE is $4.25, payable in advance of the meal.

Nov. 11, 24 & 25, Dec. 26.

2016 CENTRE COUNTY COST SAVINGS DAYS: No meals or van transportation to the Senior Center will be available, but the center will be open and staffed on...

the Nittany Mall.

After evaluating many potential locations in 2015, the Centre Region Parks & Recreation Authority finalized the details for the new home for the Senior Center inside the Nittany Mall, near the Sears store. Our thanks to the Nittany Mall for welcoming this transition. The temporary 3,225 square foot space opened there in Sept. 2015.

Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 4:30 PM

(closed on Holidays)

COMING SOON! A new, larger space and a new name!

UPDATE 5 Aug 2016: The Centre Region Senior Center will soon relocate (in late-September) to the new, larger space inside the Nittany Mall (near Sears, per the map below). DONATIONS are being accepted by the CRPR Authority for supplemental improvements to the new, permanent space for the senior center.  MORE...

Upon opening, the new center will be named the Centre Region Active Adult Center - the same great experience with a new name! Be sure to look for an official Grand Opening Announcement soon on this website and on the CRPR social media pages.
