Nittany Mall Sign

The Centre Region Active Adult Center
is located in the Nittany Mall, and is now in its new space (#990).

After evaluating many potential locations in 2015, the Centre Region Parks & Recreation Authority finalized the details for the new home for the Senior Center inside the Nittany Mall, near the Sears store. Our thanks to the Nittany Mall for welcoming this transition. The temporary space opened in September 2015 and just closed January 2017; the new permanent 7,000+ sq. ft. space opened on January 17!.
Active Adult Center Hours:  Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (closed on Holidays)

A fundraising campaign is currently running and donations are being accepted by the CRPR Authority for supplemental improvements to the new, permanent space for the senior center.  Please read our "Best Days Ahead" Campaign Summary as well as our Donor Recognition and Naming Opportunities summary, and print a Giving Form to make your pledge today!

Upon opening, the new center will be named the Centre Region Active Adult Center - the same great experience with a new name! We willhost a"soft" opening in January and will host an official Grand Opening on January 27; watch for more details.

The Second WindsThe Second Winds Band

The Second Winds, a Centre County band of thirteen musicians, have been performing for audiences throughout Central Pennsylvania for over seventeen years. The Second Wind's repertoire, as diverse and varied as the vast experience of the group members, includes a mix of swing, big band, pop, rock, and jazz standards. Some of the group members may have changed over the years, but their goal is still the same: have fun and entertain audiences of all ages!
