RE: Centre Region Senior Center - 2010 COG Funding Formula
Senior Center Director Barbara Lindenbaum has provided the following Program Attendance Figures which are used to calculate the
municipal funding shares for 2010 at the Centre Region Senior Center. This will be the 11th year where “program visits” are used to
determine COG funding shares rather than “noontime meals served” - but the second year where those OLLI classes (formerly CALL)
meeting outside the Senior Center are NOT counted. As a result, the historical comparisons are skewed.

247 of the program visits were by nonresidents of the Centre Region during the 12-month period. These visits are shown in the totals
above, but are not part of the local share calculations (on the front).
The “Program Visits” decreased by 965 (-5.2%) for the year, while the “Meal Count” increased by 368 (+8.6%). Less on-site OLLI
classes and several cancelled Senior Center programs caused this reduction.
