Youth, Get Out and Ride!

Introduction to Mountain Biking

If your child is confident riding their bike in the neighborhood, and wants to go “offroad”, this series will be a great introduction. Over the course of three rides, participants will learn basic bike handling skills, simple maintenance and trail etiquette. So come on out and enjoy the outdoors on two wheels! A “Get ready to ride” bike clinic will be led by Freezethaw Cycles.

Children will need to know how to ride a bike already and have a bike in good working order. All participants will need to dress appropriately (close-toed shoes and weather appropriate attire) and wear a helmet at all times on the bike. Everyone should have their own water and snacks are a good idea. Parents must be on site and are encouraged to ride along!  Click here to register!
