Reserve a pavilion for your group event!

CENTRE REGION MUNICIPAL PARK PAVILIONS

25 Picnic Pavilions are available
for Group Reservations in 2010

for events occurring Sat., 17 Apr 2010 through Sun., 17 Oct 2010

and 7 pavilions are available for reservations year-round!

2010 pavilion reservations were issued starting on 4 Jan 2010.

Payment-in-full is due at the time of making the reservation. Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover cards are accepted for phone reservations. The Group Representative should then take the permit to the park at the time of the event. The pavilions are very popular. . . during 2009 CRPR issued 1,086 pavilion reservations for the 6 1/2 month season.

• The fee is charged for the service of reserving a picnic pavilion in advance. In order to protect park facilities, the agency may require a pavilion reservation for “non-family” or “multiple-family” event requests.

These permits are ONLY for picnic-type group activities for organizational or family events. This permit is not valid for commercial events or non-picnic events, such as any type of promotion, fundraiser or league tournaments. These events require application for special permits.

A Pavilion Reservation Permit does NOT reserve or entitle the group to utilize baseball or softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts or play areas. A Sportfield Reservation System was established in 2008.  If your group wishes to reserve a sportfield with a pavilion reservation, then a Sportfield Reservation Fee of $15 per field will be payable (in addition to the Pavilion Fee and Large Group Event Fee, if applicable). If you elect to "take your chances" on the availability of a ballfield, the areas may be used by the pavilion group, but the group must immediately surrender use if a group arrives and presents a Sportfield Reservation Permit.

For the use of any municipal park, groups of over 100 must also obtain a Large Group Event Policy permit. Also, any group event at Friedman Parklet requires a special permit in advance.

Pavilion Renters may also reserve a SPORT PACK for your park event. It's a duffle bag full of balls, bats, and picnic FUN. A limited number of Sport Packs are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day only. One Sport Pack may be reserved at no charge for park functions during a pavilion reservation time, with a $20 deposit. If your group is not reserving a pavilion, SPORT PACKS are also available for your other events with a $10 per event rental fee + $20 deposit. The supply is limited to 5 sport packs that are available, so they must be reserved in advance. If any item is missing from the pack upon return, the entire $20 deposit is forfeited.
