Centre Region Parks and Recreation manages its budget in many ways; the Agency receives tax funds from the member municipalities, it generates revenues from certain programs and activities which are then reinvested into its operation, it competes for grant funding, and the Agency receives donations through its Gifts-For-Parks program.
By contributing to the Gifts-For-Parks program, you are helping to extend the quality of municipal parks and recreation programs in the Centre Region. The funds generated from this program provide youth sports equipment, support the Remembrance Tree Program, support the Agency’s Youth Scholarship Program, support the State College Area Municipal Band, and purchase other supplies.
The Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority, a Pennsylvania Municipal Authority, is registered with GuideStar®.
