If there’s snow, you gotta go sledding.  Slab Cabin Park, located in College Township at 316 Elmwood Street, has the best sledding slope around.

The whole family is sure to enjoy this Centre Region wintertime tradition during daylight, or under the lights from 5-11 PM, conditions-permitting. The slope is open as conditions permit. Shake off the winter chill and warm up around the fire ring.

Getting Cabin Fever? Get ready to bundle up and head outdoors to the Village Ice Rink at Blue Spring Park, located in Harris Township at 230 Wagner Street in Boalsburg. This activity is FREE and fun for kids of all ages! Once it is opened, the on-ground ice rink (45’ x 80’) is totally dependant upon the weather and the commitment of community volunteers to maintain the ice. This is "natural ice" so we must wait until temperatures permit the ice to form.“Hockey-only” times are shown below. Please call the “CRPR Ice Line” (tape message) at 234-7146 for current rink conditions (once the rink is open).
