Whitehall Road Regional Parklands

First Master Site Plan Presented at 7 Dec 2009 Meeting

At the Regional Parks Planning Committee meeting on 7 Dec 2009, Pashek Associates presented the first Master Site Plan for the Whitehall Road Regional Parklands (100 acres total). The plan is based upon the comments from the public and from municipal officials following the three "Concept Plans" presented in October.

Suggestions to improve this plan were provided by the committee, so Version 2 is expected to be presented in January with further refinements.  At that time, a second Public Forum will be held to continue development of that plan.  This plan is intended to complement the facilities planned at the Oak Hall Regional Parklands, which together address the current shortage of active recreation facilities in the region.

Emailed comments and suggestions to this email address regarding the plan are welcome .
