2010 Picnic Pavilion Rental
Reservations for Summer 2010 were accepted starting on 4 Jan 2010.
To make a reservation, please call (814) 231-3071 during office hours (8AM-5PM, M-F).
Pavilion Accommodations:
• 16' x 34' under roof, with 8 picnic tables inside: capacity of 64 visitors.
• Nearby electrical is provided. A hose bib is available beside the pavilion. Generators are prohibited.
• A large charcoal grill is available, and charcoal or propane grills may be furnished by the group. In no case may a grill be placed upon any picnic table. Any charcoal ashes shall be disposed only into an appropriately-labeled ash can.
• Showers, restrooms, changing areas and vending machines are available at the pool building.
• A weekly schedule which lists paid reservations will be posted at the pavilion.
2010 Rental Policy:
• In line with the CRPR policy for other picnic pavilions, the pavilion (only) may be reserved for exclusive use by a group for a fee of $45 per activity during
regular pool hours (see hours below).
• All pavilion users, whether swimming or not, must also pay the regular pool admission fees before they enter the pool complex (using Daily Admission or Season Passes). Non-swimming adults, not attired in swimwear, are admitted to the pool @ $2.00.
• In the interest of safety,
pavilion reservation requests will be accepted pending the schedule of group admissions.
•Daily admission, group admissions and season pass payments are not eligible for refunds, pro-rating or credits. Daily admission entrants are eligible for same-day re-admission if a hand stamp is obtained prior to exiting
(does not apply to special events held outside normal operating
hours). Rental group members may leave the pool complex and be readmitted the same day at no charge only if they obtain a hand-stamp from the cashier prior to exiting. If the main pool is closed in excess of 30 minutes, a $3 "Next 2010 Visit" discount coupon will be available to daily admission patrons only (does not apply to Group Rate Admissions).
• For
safety reasons, during General Swims all youth age 10 and
under must be accompanied by a Responsible Adult (age 16
and over).
• If the pavilion is not
reserved in advance by another group, the pavilion may be used
at no charge.
Available 2010 Dates & Times for Standard Rentals:
• The pavilion is available during
the regular seasonal times of normal pool operations, 7 days
/ week.
• Pavilion access is permitted
only during the reserved times and within the pool hours
specified above. Please
be accurate on start and end times requested, allowing
for any necessary setup and takedown times for the group. Further,
a 1-hour Grace Period for lateness is permitted. After 1-hour,
the pavilion will be available for use by others, even if they
do not have a reservation.
Special Rentals:
If a group wishes to exceed the pavilion
capacity of 64 people, or extend the activity later than the
standard times listed above, the entire
pool facility is available for rental after 8:15 PM (on
Fri., Sat., Sun. evenings only) in accord with the approved rental
policy. The Park Forest Pool Rental Fee includes use of the pavilion (during the rental time).
Rules and Regulations:
• During a standard pavilion rental,
the group size may not exceed 64 people.
• All glass containers,alcoholic beverages, chewing gum and pets are prohibited.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the pool fence (including the pavilion area).
• Showers, restrooms, changing areas and vending machines
are available.
• CRPR is not responsible for the loss of personal
property brought into the pool facility. Coin-operated lockers are available.
• Please help keep the pool clean. In line with public health considerations,
only bathing suits are permitted in the pool (no shorts, cut-offs, etc.).

CANCELLATIONS:
| • Any cancellations
or schedule changes less than 7 calendar days
prior to the reserved time will not be eligible
for a refund, credit, or transfer. |
| • Any cancellations
or schedule changes 7 or more calendar days
prior to the reserved time will be eligible
for a 50% refund, credit, or transfer to another reservation.
All 2010 "PF Pavilion Credits" will
expire on Labor Day, except that the reservation credit may be transferred
to a park
pavilion after the pool closes for the season on Labor Day (but before 17 Oct
2010). |

OUTS:
Before the
permit starting time:
| • If
pool or weather conditions will prohibit use of the pool
facility, the Group Leader must notify the Pool Office
by phone before the scheduled use. CRPR will attempt
to reschedule your group event at no additional charges
during the current season, pending current availability.
Re-schedule information is available during weekday business
hours from the CRPR office. No refund or credit can be
provided. |
After the
permit starting time:
| • If
pool or weather conditions prohibited use of the pool
facility startingless
than two hours after the reservation began,
CRPR will reschedule your group event at no additional
charges during the current season, pending current availability.
In this case, group agrees to leave the pool facility when
and if the pool closes. No refund or credit can be provided.
Re-schedule information is available during weekday business
hours via the CRPR office. |
| • If pool or weather conditions
prohibited use of the pool facility starting more than
two hours after the reservation began, no rescheduling,
refund, or credit will be available. In this case, the
group may stay to utilize the "pavilion only" until
the end of the permit time. When and if the pool closes
to swimmers, for group safety a CRPR staff member will
remain on-site while the pavilion is in use, but no use
of the pool will be permitted. Reschedule information is
available during weekday business hours from the CRPR office. |
