Jada joined CRPR as a Staff Assistant in June 2010. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Lock Haven University. She is also employed by Home Delivery Pizza and by Wal-Mart. Originally from Tyrone, Jada resides in State College. She enjoys sports, travel, music and spending time with her family. |
Carol M. Clitherow

Carol joined CRPR as the part-time Senior Center Program Assistant in July, 2005. That position was upgraded to full-time status as a Staff Assistant effective January 2008. She was named Acting Senior Center Supervisor on 1 Sep 09. Prior to her employment with CRPR, Carol volunteered at the Centre Region Senior Center as a computer tutor and has assisted in teaching computer courses for C.A.L.L. (now O.L.L.I.)
Carol lives in Potter Township, near Colyer Lake, with her husband (Mike). She enjoys tole painting, crafts and gardening. |
Christeen J. Kisslak

Chrissy joined CRPR as the Office Manager in Dec. 2010. She holds a BS in Aeronautics from St. Louis University with a minor in Business Administration. Chrissy graduated from State High in 1985 and has been involved with youth sports and recreation as a parent, coach and volunteer for many years. Her hobbies include airplanes, reading, sports and family recreation activities. |
Jeff Hall

Jeff has served as a CRPR Recreation Supervisor since Feb. 2001. He has a BS from Penn State in Recreation and Park Management. Jeff was previously employed with Penn State Intramurals and as the Recreation Director in Punxsutawney, PA. Jeff also worked as a CRPR Parks Maintenance Worker in 1999.
Originally from Blossburg, PA, Jeff is a Certified Youth Sports Administrator by the National Alliance of Youth Sports. He resides in Bellefonte and has two sons (Jake & Luke). His hobbies include sports. |
Todd A. Roth
Aquatics Supervisor |
Todd has served as the CRPR Aquatics Supervisor since Jan. 2002. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State. Todd was previously employed with the Carlisle Swim Club, the Carlisle YMCA, and a landscape construction firm. He is also currently attending classes for a Master's Degree in recreation, parks, and tourism management at PSU.
Originally from State College, Todd is a certified Aquatics Facility Operator by the National Recreation & Park Assn., a Lifeguard Instructor, and a Water Safety Instructor-Trainer. He resides in State College Borough with his wife (Jennifer), three daughters and two dogs. His hobbies include coaching swimming, landscaping and participating in triathlons. |
Molly A. Hetrick

Molly served in 2001 and 2002 as the part-time, seasonal Site Coordinator for Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. In March 2003, she was named as the first full-time CRPR Recreation Supervisor / Nature Center. She holds a BS from Penn State in Agriculture Education, as well as a PA. State Teaching Certificate in Agriculture, Environmental Science, and General Science. Molly was previously employed by Land Between The Lakes, TN, Middle Tenn. State University, and Children's Discovery House in TN.
Originally from Bellefonte, Molly resides in Pleasant Gap. Her hobbies include reading, singing, hiking, kayaking, fly-fishing and genealogy. |
Virginia E. Shawley

Virginia joined CRPR in December 2009 as Supervisor of the Centre Region Senior Center. She holds a BS in Individual and Family Studies and an MS in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling specializing in Gerontology. Prior to joining our staff, Virginia worked with the Centre County Office of Aging and with counseling agencies within the area. Originally from State College, Virginia resides in State College Borough with her family. She enjoys her animals, gardening, fishing and auctions. |
Beth C. Lee

Beth was appointed as a CRPR Recreation Supervisor in July 2003. She holds a BS in Education with a Recreation emphasis from Bowling Green State University, OH. She was previously employed with the Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce, CO, and most recently by the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District in Fraser, CO as the Assistant General Recreation Director. Beth worked as a Supervisor for the CRPR Wee KIDventure in summer 1994. Originally from Columbus OH, she resides is Halfmoon Township with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include skiing, biking, hiking, watching Ohio State football and spending time with family and friends. |

Ronald J. Woodhead

Ron has served as Director of Centre Region Parks & Recreation since March 1997. Ron was previously employed as Director of Parks and Recreation for Wellsboro (Tioga County) PA (1976-1980) and for Upper Moreland Township (Montgomery County) PA (1980-1997). He holds a BS degree (1975) from the Penn State University Recreation & Park Program.
Originally from Sunbury, PA, Ron is a Certified Parks & Recreation Professional and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. He resides in State College Borough with his wife (Ann); they have two grown daughters. His hobbies include motorcycle touring / camping, computers and D-I-Y projects. |
