CRPR is pleased to recognize the contributors (listed below) to the CRPR Gifts-For-Parks Program to provide a park bench and adjacent shade tree at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in honor of the service of Robert D. Griffith as Executive Director of the PA Recreation & Park Society. Bob retired from that position in Dec. 2010 after service since 1977.

The dedication was incorporated into the dedication ceremony of the new Spring Creek Education Bldg. on Sunday, 17 Apr 2011. The bench is a commercial-grade, 6' long park bench made in Mifflintown, PA, of recycled plastic lumber; the tree is an American Beech. Photos of the ceremony are posted HERE.
