Centre Region Parks & Recreation
welcomes inquiries from potential intern students for Summer,
Fall or Spring semesters. The agency typically selects up
to three "general" interns per calendar year. Through 2012, a stipend of $125/week
is provided to interns. All internship inquiries and applications should be directed to Mr. Todd Roth.
In order to provide a broad exposure
of the student to agency operations, "general" interns participate in a variety of work experiences during each semester:
- administration,
- program operations (sports, special events, fitness, etc.),
- park management and maintenance,
- nature center management,
- aquatics,
- senior center operations,
- office operations, and
- a special project.
In addition, targeted internships
may be available at Centre Region Senior
Center or at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center.
Intern / Program Assistant positions available at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center (Spring 2012): Details HERE (PDF)
To apply, please obtain and

for Employment form, and submit it to the CRPR office
c/o Mr. Todd Roth with copies of:
(1) your current college transcript,
