Please note the current status of Summer 2010 positions at CRPR:
- Camps: All positions filled; standby applications are welcome.
- Aquatics:
A. Front Desk Staff: All positions filled, no additional applications are needed.
B. Swim Lesson Instructors: 8 vacancies, applications welcomed.
C. Lifeguards: All positions filled, no additional applications are needed.
- Main Office: All positions filled; standby applications are welcome.

Centre Region Parks & Recreation
welcomes inquiries from potential intern students for Summer,
Fall or Spring semesters. The agency typically selects up
to two interns per semester. Through 2010, a stipend of $125/week
is provided to interns. In order to provide a broad exposure
of the student to agency operations, interns are assigned
a variety of work experiences during each semester:
▪ administration,
▪ program operations (sports, special events, fitness, etc.),
▪ park management and maintenance,
▪ nature center management,
▪ aquatics,
▪ senior center operations,
▪ office operations, and
▪ a special project.
In addition, targeted internships
may be available at Centre Region Senior
Center or at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center.
To apply, please obtain and
complete a CRPR Application
for Employment form, and submit it to the CRPR office
with copies of:
(1) a current transcript,
(2) PA. State Police "Criminal Background Check,"
(3) PA. Dept. of Public Welfare "Child Abuse Clearance," and
(4) Your driver's license.
