Revised Agenda for SPECIAL MEETING

This Special Meeting of the Authority / Board was advertised with the following purposes:
(1) receive a status report regarding the Welch Pool Renewal (Master Site Plan) and
(2) to conduct any other business that may come before the body.
The POOL RENEWAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE has also been invited to this meeting.

I.         CALL TO ORDER and ROLL CALL

Aquatics Supervisor Todd Roth will re-introduce the members of the Pool Renewal Advisory Committee, appointed by the Authority.

III.      COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT

Sue Younkin, the State College Area School District representative to the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Advisory Committee, has retired from the District. The Advisory Committee has recommended that Mary Jayne (MJ) Coon-Kitt, the K-6 Math/Science Coordinator for SCASD, be appointed to continue the unexpired term of Ms. Younkin (expires 31 Dec 08).   ACTION

IV. PARK FOREST POOL RENEWAL

The consultants requested direction from the Authority on selecting one of 3 layout plans (all based upon the approved Master Site Plan). The 3 layout plans will be reviewed by the consultants at the meeting. ACTION

V.      WELCH POOL RENEWAL - MASTER SITE PLAN:

> Mr. Scot Hunsaker, Principal, Counsilman-Hunsaker Associates, St. Louis, MO.

The Welch Pool consultants will present 5 concept plans for the Welch Pool Master Site Plan (including the estimated construction and operational costs for each) for evaluation per the following schedule:

            ➢ Mo. 24 Sep 07, 3:00 PM:     Special Meeting of the Authority at the COG Bldg. (to include the Project Advisory Comm.)

            ➢ Mo. 24 Sep 07, 7:30 PM:     COG General Forum Meeting at the Halfmoon Twp. Bldg.

            ➢ Tu. 25 Sep 07, 7:00 PM:      Community Meeting at the COG Bldg.
