The Municipal Band was formed in 1976. Dr. Ned Deihl, the Principal Conductor since Spring 1996, and about 80 amateur and semi-professional band members selected for balanced instrumentation perform four indoor concerts annually. Repertoire ranges from pops to standard band classics, including overtures, transcriptions and marches.
The FREE concerts of this award-winning band are held in the SCAHS South Auditorium. Donations for the band are gratefully accepted at the door. EVERYONE is welcome!
