If there’s snow, you gotta go sledding.  Slab Cabin Park, located in College Township at 316 Elmwood St., Lemont, has the best sledding slope around - and it's FREE!

The whole family is sure to enjoy this Centre Region wintertime tradition during daylight, or under the lights from 5-11 PM, conditions-permitting. Please note the slope rules, shown below. The slope is open as conditions permit. Shake off the winter chill and warm up around the fire ring.

Getting Cabin Fever? Get ready to bundle up and head outdoors to the Village Ice Rink at Blue Spring Park, located in Harris Township at 230 Wagner St., Boalsburg. This activity is FREE and fun for kids of all ages! Once it is opened, the on-ground ice rink (45’ x 80’) is totally dependant Ice Skatersupon colder weather and the commitment of community volunteers to maintain the ice. This is "natural ice" so it all depends on the temperature. “Hockey-only” times are shown below.

Please call the “CRPR Ice Line” (tape message) at 234-7146 for current rink conditions. Our sincere thanks to these organizations for their assistance to CRPR for the ice rink:
