A.         At Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, 548 Puddintown Road, College Twp.:

1. * Continue work on renovating ground floor of barn into a “Wet Lab” for use by school students for wetland education exercises (will also use EPA Wetlands Grant Funds for materials). Will involve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry work, construction of student work tables. (Preliminary portions of this project were included in the current-year grant project)         640 mh

2. Construct* & install interpretive signs in & around the 62-acre marsh                             120 mh

3. Complete boardwalk system enhancements                                                                       205 mh

B.         At other municipal park sites within 5 miles of the nature center:

5. Construct trail upgrades and erosion controls at:

              • Thompson Woods Preserve (College Twp. & Borough of State College)            125 mh

              • Stan Yoder Memorial Preserve (Harris Twp.)                                                      125 mh

6. Install park benches along trails at Stan Yoder Memorial Preserve (Harris Twp.)           40 mh

7. Continue planting and maintaining Remembrance Trees and Memorial Benches in various parks               600 mh

8. Continue building portable toilet screening enclosures and pads at 5 parks,                     280 mh

9. Continue playground upgrades to meet CPSC Safety Guidelines and ADA compliance at Woodycrest, Green Hollow, Dalevue, Suburban, Holmes Foster, Tusseyview, and Fasick Parks1,200 mh

10.Install drinking fountains and benches at Fogleman Fields Park (a new 15-acre park in College Twp.)      200 mh

11. Create and landscape a terraced bank at Park Forest Community Swimming Pool                                      240 mh

12. Tudek Memorial Park - Farmstead area: work on barn and outbuilding renovation projects                       290 mh

13. At Fasick park, plant trees and shrubs to form riparian buffer along Spring Creek (in Harris Twp.) (in partnership with Clearwater Conservancy/ PA DEP Growing Greener Grant to furnish plant materials)                                      280 mh

14. At 10 parks, ballfield safety renovations: lip removal, minor grading, add infield amendments                  400 mh

15. Construct single-table pavilions for Fasick Totlot, High Point Park, Park Forest Totlot, Green Hollow, Graysdale, and Mt. Nittany Conservancy                                                                                                                                                 720 mh

16. At Spring Creek Park, replace T-111 wood siding on restroom building                                                     280 mh

17. Install electric service in pavilions at Spring Creek, Orchard and Sunset Parks (5 pavs total)                     480 mh

C.         At Centre County Historical Society (on CCHS property, ½ mile from the nature center):

20. Continuing development of walking paths at Centre Furnace                                                                      150 mh

21. *Continue & complete reconstruction of 19th century log house                                                                  985 mh

              (Portions of this project were included in the current-year PCC project)

22. Reinforce/ rebuild foundations of 2 outbuildings                                                                                         120 mh
