Plan your group program!

The nature center offers Guided Discovery Programs for children and adults to explore and learn more about Millbrook Marsh. These programs are created using academic standards and are great for classes, after-school groups, home-school students and scout groups. Programs are led by staff and volunteers; all activities are designed to have high value to students and a low impact on the marsh.

2012 Scouting Programs at Millbrook Marsh

Millbrook Marsh Nature Center has group programs designed especially for scout groups (in addition to our regular group programs!) Participants will complete activities and explorations that meet all or some of the requirements for badges, while exploring Millbrook Marsh Nature Center with a naturalist. Leaders can schedule a program just for your troop or gather several troops together. The Program Fee is $6.50 per participant, paid in advance; this fee may be increased depending on the cost of the Scout badges.   MORE...

  Birthday Parties at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center

MMNC Birthday Parties, held in 3-hour timeframes for ages 4-10, combine good old-fashioned fun with learning in this wetland environment! The setting is beautiful and unique and sure to give your child a memorable birthday! 

A fun, one-hour educational program will be held at the nature center and in the wetland areas, including games, a nature walk, and a craft. The second hour of the party (time for cake and opening gifts) can be held in one of the buildings where there is plenty of room to play and move around. 2011 Facility Rental Information

The facilities at the 62-acre nature center, which include the new Spring Creek Educ. Bldg., grounds, barn, wetlab and the picnic pavilion, are available for rentals to groups, businesses, and individuals. This is a GREAT place for your next picnic, meeting, birthday party or other group activity.  More info....
