Knee High Naturalists                      Now Offered Tuesdays & Wednesdays!

Come and enjoy these classic programs for children ages 3 to 6 to learn about and explore the Millbrook Marsh! Knee High Naturalists programs will be one hour in length and include both indoor and outdoor activities. Programs offered on Tuesday and Wednesday again this year! Please dress for the weather. Parents are encouraged to stay for the programs. Advance registration is required.

Cattail Thursday Theatre

Come and share an hour of nature, theatre & fun! For children ages 3-6, sessions include using simple props or costumes to act out parts in a nature related story or play. Children will help prepare a simple presentation for parents to enjoy. Advance registration is required.

Storytime Fun at the Marsh

With our friends from Schlow Centre Region Library. Storytime at the marsh is designed to introduce children ages 3-5 to nature in an entertaining and inviting setting. The program will include an introduction to a theme, nature stories, activities and outdoor fun (weather permitting). Programs are held at the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Spring Creek Education Building. Pre-registration is required, please call Centre Region Parks & Recreation or visit www.crpr.org to register. Space is limited to 25 children, walk-ins can not be accepted. Parents are asked to stay for the programs. Storytime programs are co-sponsored by Schlow Centre Region Library.

This winter, enjoy a childrens program in the new Spring Creek Education Building! These programs will offer one hour of activities that include indoor activities and an outdoor walk. Puppet Shows at the Marsh

Puppeteer Adam Swartz will put on an interactive, family friendly puppet show at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center that is entertaining and educational! Join us in the new Spring Creek Education Building to watch, learn, and enjoy a puppet show. Shows will be 1 hour in length and are for all ages to enjoy! $5 per person at the door will support the nature center and this talented local puppeteer, children under 4 are free.
