BULLETIN: Thanks to a special donation from the AAUW State College Branch, the agency is able to extend supplemental recreation scholarships for qualifying girls enrolling in 2010 programs that meet at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. This assistance applies to all programs and day camps held at the nature center. |

Romantic Moonlight Walk:

Bring your sweetheart to Millbrook Marsh Nature Center on Mothers Day weekend and enjoy the lantern-lit boardwalk, make a wish at the wishing well, stop under the kissing tree and dance in the barn! Couples will be greeted by a staff person and then walk at their own pace. This event is not appropriate for children. Free; no registration required.
Music Nights at the Marsh:
Come and enjoy beautiful bluegrass and folk music at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center! All ages are welcome! Some concerts may be outdoors, some held in the barn. Bring the family, a blanket, a chair, or a picnic! (Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on nature center property.) In case of rain, please check the CRPR Message Board before 5 PM. A $5 per person donation will be collected at the door to support the nature center and these great local musicians! Children under 10 are free. Free parking is available.

Summer Discovery Days at the Nature Center
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6 - 8 PM FREE!
If you are interested in Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, this is a great time to visit!
Discovery Days are a time for visitors to drop in and explore the nature center grounds,
have a look around the barn, ask questions about programs, hike the trails or even bring
a picnic! Nature Center staff will be on hand to answer questions and give directions.
There is no charge to visit the center, but donations are accepted and appreciated. No
registration is required. While the nature center grounds are open to the public from dawn to dusk
each day, staff are not always on-site and available. Each Discovery Day will have a theme! An on-going program or activity will be offered during each Discovery Day. Please check back in mid-June for the themes to be announced.
