YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
BULLETIN: Thanks to a special donation from the AAUW State College Branch, the agency is able to extend supplemental recreation scholarships for qualifying girls enrolling in 2010 programs that meet at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center. This assistance applies to all programs and day camps held at the nature center.

Compass2010 World Wetlands Day:

Join staff from Millbrook Marsh Nature Center to celebrate World Wetlands Day with a fun winter walk! Learn about the history of World Wetlands Day and current initiatives, take a winter walk through the wetland at Millbrook Marsh, and learn why wetlands are so important! Great for adults and kids over 6. Free, but please register HERE or by contacting CRPR at 231-3071. Program # 31051. Rain or shine. Donations welcome.

Balloons4th Annual Earth Day Birthday Event:
Sunday, April 18, 2-5 PM

Celebrate Earth Day at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center! Great fun for the whole family! Free Event! This popular annual event includes displays, activities, demos, music, animals, and more! Planned by Penn State RPTM students. Check back here in March for more info! Event held rain or shine.

StarsRomantic Moonlight Walk:
Saturday, May 8, 8:30-10:30 PM

Bring your sweetheart to Millbrook Marsh Nature Center on Mothers Day weekend and enjoy the lantern-lit boardwalk, make a wish at the wishing well, stop under the kissing tree and dance in the barn! Couples will be greeted by a staff person and then walk at their own pace. This event is not appropriate for children. Free; no registration required. More info will be posted here in April.

The nature center grounds are open to the public from dawn to dusk each day.
However, staff are not always available on-site.
