2009 END-OF-SEASON PROGRAM SUMMARY

❀ During 2009, the nature center hosted 10,301 program
visits, a 6% increase from 2008, which demonstrates the
continued popularity of programs.
❀ This count includes 3,741 visitors from six different
school districts (see table) including community groups,
scout groups, charter schools, etc.
❀ 123 volunteers contributed a total of 1,828 hours during 2009 at a value of $25,592 (@ $14/hr), which helps
to keep staff costs low.
