*Youth Basketball - Register NOW for CRPR Youth Basketball league. Players (Grades 7&8) will be placed on neighborhood teams where possible. Practices and games will run from early Jan - Mid March. Registrants though October 31, receive a $4 discount. $36R / $56N

Discovery Days at Millbrook Marsh Nature Center Discovery Days are a time for visitors to explore the nature center grounds, have a look around the barn, ask questions about programs, hike the trails, or bring a picnic. Nature Center staff will be on hand to answer questions and give directions. There is no charge to visit the center, but donations are accepted and appreciated. Wednesdays throughout Sept.; 4 - 7PM

Beginning Tai Chi Begins @ the Senior Center This gentle exercise is effective in promoting physical and mental well being. Studies have shown that Tai Chi increases flexibility, muscular strength and fitness, while reducing joint pain and stiffness due to arthritis. This program is suitable for individuals with/without arthritis and is safe for people of all ages. Thursdays Sept. 18-Oct 23; 10:45-11:45 AM Fee: $50R/ $75N
Ongoing Tai Chi Begins @ the Senior Center For those who have completed the Tai Chi for Arthritis beginner and advanced series. This weekly class will focus on improving skill level, incorporating the principles of Tai Chi into your movements, and increase a sense of relaxation and “flow” with your tai chi practice. “Start Smart” Youth Soccer Program begins "Start Smart" Soccer is a developmentally appropriate introductory soccer program for children 3-5 years old. Beginning Ballroom/Round Dance. Join Carter and Ruby Ackerman to learn the basics of Ballroom Dancing and have a great deal of fun!!! No experience necessary, come learn ballroom dance steps, including the Fox Trot, Tango, Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, and Swing. These beginning classes are offered Tuesday evenings at Panorama Elementary from 7-10pm. The cost is only $5.00per couple/per class. New members can join the first 3 nights. Girl’s Rhythmic Gymnastics begins (Beginner & Advanced Classes) This Olympic sport is a combination of dance, gymnastic movements, and apparatus holding (i.e.-rope, ball, hoop, clubs & ribbons). “Exploring Our Backyard”Hikes Explore a local natural area that you may not have visited before! Meet at these local parks and walk with a guide who knows the trails. These walks are beginner to moderate level and will be led by nature center staff. Walks will go in light rain, but will be cancelled in case of severe weather. Registration is required. Walks are NOT appropriate for children. Millbrook Marsh Nature Center the “Full Loop” perimeter path. 6:30-8:00 PM. Fee: $5R/$7.50N
Pleasures of Oil Painting at the Senior Center This class offers instruction in the use of water soluble oil paints (easier clean-up and less smell)For people with some experience who desire to explore the medium of paint in a joyful manner. Students will be notified of the appropriate supplies to bring to class. Participant will take home 3 paintings by the end of class. Thursdays, Sept. Nov. 20; 1-4PM. Fee: $54R / $81N.
