The use of the CRPR Internet registration service involves a Convenience Fee added to the regular prices posted. The Convenience Fee is charged by The Active Network (the service provider), then displayed and added to the total fees at checkout based upon the listed rates (see table).
No additional fees are charged for the other (non-Internet) forms of program registration (phone, fax, walk-in, mail).
If a refund is requested by a customer, the Convenience Fee is not refundable. However, if a program is cancelled or withdrawn by CRPR, any Convenience Fee paid by the registrant is fully refunded.
Each Internet transaction customer must certify that they are age 13 or over. The Internet service accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. Internet registrations are accepted starting at 12:01 AM on the Sunday that the Leisure Guide (paper version) is distributed. Actual processing by staff of the (non-Internet) registration forms submitted to the CRPR office will begin at 8:00 AM Monday (following the Leisure Guide Distribution on Sunday).
CRPR has utilized the ActiveNet service 1 Jan 2008.
The CRPR Board has authorized that (effective 24 Jan 2010):
• For 7 days after the program registration opens, Internet registrations will be accepted for up to 50% of the total capacity of each program - so as to provide opportunities for those registering via phone, fax, mail, drop-box or counter service.
• After 7 days from the initial registration date, all methods of registration will be open and encouraged; Internet registrations will be accepted without restriction.
